Wow – I really struck a chord on Tuesday night’s training call.
The emails started right afterwards from people looking to find a solution to their unconscious money self-sabotage. One woman shared, “I experience these feeling often–I have guilt all over!…I want, and get, to do this [Making Money Flow] seminar, breaking free of my unhealthy “BS” that my mind has built over the years.” This takes courage — I appreciate and respect that.
If you missed listening in on the call, no problem! Since many of you asked for another chance to attend the live call, I decided to hold an encore presentation this Monday night –with lots of content and no cost to you.

Here’s one of the tips that I shared:
MONEY TIP: Your parents may have given you an unwanted gift — your financial legacy. [click to continue…]
Just a few short years ago, I didn’t think that it was ever going to happen for me. I didn’t deserve it. I wasn’t worthy of that level of happiness. I wasn’t good or perfect “enough.” As most of us do, I like to be right, so of course I kept finding evidence for my beliefs. I thought that I had lost my opportunity to find the man and career of my dreams.
This was a story that I told myself so often that evidence became abundant and easy to find.
You may be able to relate to these beliefs. I hear them nearly every day from people just like you in how they relate to money and success.
I’m in the midst of a conference in Orlando and I wanted to send you a super quick email to clear up some confusion you may be having:
First, the high-content no-cost training call I’m leading is going to be this coming Tuesday April 3rd. It’s called “THE WEALTHY MIND: Discover the 3 Reasons Your Everyday Thoughts Could Be Sabotaging Your Savings and Leaving You Feeling Broke.” Here’s the link to reserve your spot: http://bit.ly/WealthyMind
Second, I got such a great question that I wanted to share the answer with you: “Can I really solve my money issues by just thinking differently?” The answer is both yes and no. (My father was an attorney and taught me well.) [click to continue…]
You may be thinking…
Wow, was the winter so mild because of global warming?
Who’s left in the Final Four Basketball Championship this weekend?
Or
How am I going to get my taxes finished for April 16th?
But are you thinking…
What’s the secret to catapult my financial success?
(Join me here to find out: http://bit.ly/WealthyMind)
Especially when it came to money, your brain likely took on a nugget of a non-supportive belief or saying (like “Rich people are greedy” or “Making money is hard”), and then every bit of bad economic news or work struggle helped to build the case. This “case” then serves as the (what seems valid) reasoning for why you just aren’t nearly as successful with money as you could be.
Once that happens, you may find yourself disconnected, avoiding, and resigned to your current financial life. It is perfectly natural. If it weren’t for this email, you would likely keep going along, thinking that this is as good as it gets. And you’d likely be right…. [click to continue…]

Managing your finances often falls off the list, regardless of how good of a multi-tasker you are. You can master your career or your business, yet feel unprepared for mastering your own money. [click to continue…]
As you are filling your dream team from the last Money Tip, you may be wondering how I can help you fund that dream team. Can I in fact make this your “lucky day”…?
So here’s my idea:
I have been noticing that people want results immediately. Just like taking off a band-aid from a wound, you can either pull it off slowly and painfully, or you can rip it off and let the healing begin. I prefer the fast approach to get started on the new better solution. (How about you?)
Then I listened.(Sounds simple, but sometimes not so easy.) I really truly listened to the urgent questions that people wanted immediate answers to so they could pay off their debt, jump-start their savings, and actually sleep better at night feeling they were in control of their own financial future.
Not Irish? No problem—me neither! I’ve learned to create my own “luck of the Irish” and want to share a few pieces of gold with you today. One of the most important things that I’ve learned in almost 20 years of working with money and wealth is this…
MONEY TIP:
You can do it alone, but the path is often harder, scarier, costlier, and drains the joy out of you along the way. (So who wants that?) Yes you do have an alternative (to follow the rainbow to your pot of gold). Create your own Dream Team. These are your go-to people, ready on your speed dial, to help you with your money, health, home, and all of the many facets of you that contribute to your wealth—both inside and out.
Have you ever wondered how (and why) someone can have $28 million one minute, and then in just a few short months have spent it all down to less than $2 million? This may seem like a luxury problem for someone to have, yet you may find yourself facing this one on a smaller scale every day.

Most of us have heard of big financial software sites like mint.com or mvelopes.com. Today, thanks to the Daily Worth, we’ve learned of a few new sites to help track spending.
Hello Wallet is a site that helps to manage and improve its members’ finances. They offer advice to increase savings and get out of debt, and provide many useful money-tracking tools. The site is even endorsed by former President Bill Clinton.
You Need A Budget offers great software that you can try for free for 34 days. If you like it, you can purchase the software for Mac or PC for $60.00. They say the real magic happens when you start to implement the 4 rules of their YNAB method. [click to continue…]
