It’s that transitional time of the year when kids are back to school, pumpkin spiced lattes are out, and if you’re like a lot of business owners I know, you’re looking ahead to an upcoming launch, the 4th quarter and even (gasp!) to your 2024 goals.
If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed with how far you have to go, or underwhelmed with your business progress this year, I’m dropping in with something you might really need to hear. Call it a little dose of Tuesday inspo.

It is 100% in your power to not only reach your business goals but far surpass them. And it starts with believing that everything you want is entirely possible and within your reach.
I’m not talking about BS, fluff-filled “I know I can do it” lip service, but actually believing, seeing, and being the success you desire.

Yes, it’s going to take some planning and some strategic action-taking. Maybe even learning some new skills. And likely a few leaps of faith.
But it’s going to happen — as long as you are committed to it happening and believe with certainty that your success is inevitable. (You can, as a start, lean on my belief in you!)

Revenue vs. Profit: Which one are you setting goals for?
(And if you’re not setting goals for either because it feels like you don’t know what the numbers should be and you don’t want to be disappointed, then today’s tip is definitely for you.)
The answer should be BOTH, but a lot of entrepreneurs focus on the revenue only without really diving into what they’re actually taking home.
Bringing in $250k (revenue) a year would feel amazing, right? That is… unless $245K of it was eaten up by expenses and poor expense planning. Or worse, $270k in expenses and you end up in $20k of credit card debt!
All of a sudden that big revenue happy dance turns into a nail biting worry fest over how you’re going to cover your OWN expenses in the months ahead.
Next time you’re marveling at the big numbers you hear others talk about for their launches and programs, just remember… those face-value numbers don’t really tell the whole story.
When I first began in business, I felt like I was lone wolfing it.
