How do you handle the money in your business?

Are you the kind of business owner who uses spreadsheets or a software to track income and expenses? Or do you just hope you don’t spend more than you make each month?

There’s absolutely no judgement here.

Money is the only common thing among all businesses…

Think about it. Some businesses don’t need or use social media. Some only get new business from referrals. Some run entirely offline.

But all businesses need money — otherwise it’s a hobby.

Smart and profitable business owners not only know their financial numbers (like income by month and by income stream, recurring and unusual expenses, and profit) but they also use that information to build their business growth strategy.

Take my past student, Jess B., for example. She hadn’t even looked at her money situation in some time.

With the help of Cash Flow CEO, Jess not only looked at her numbers, but analyzed expenditures, cut unnecessary costs, and immediately hit the black (aka more cash was staying IN her bank account) and then got on track for a positive $2000+ profit per month.

Do you think it is impossible to deliver high-quality education in the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee? My friend Cathy Demers is proving that wrong…

Her ‘Business Success Cafe’ is free, only 20 minutes, and it’s become a very popular source for timely business education. That’s because it’s the perfect coffee break for busy business owners…like you. I think you’ll love it too

This is business education and transformation at the speed of a good cup of coffee!

And guess what? I am a featured Guest Expert at the Business Success Cafe in SEPTEMBER! (You’ll love what I am going to teach you. Plus there are lots of other amazing experts lined up too.)

While I’m sharing exciting news, I’ll also be a speaker at The Profitable Tech VA Summit later in September — funny enough, also for 20 minutes! This event is perfect for you if you are a virtual assistant or other tech-based service provider, or if you want to be. And it’s organized by Lindsey Aleson, who I’ve worked closely with and definitely knows what it takes to be successful. You can sign up for free here.

Will I see you at these events?

250% price increase?

by Belinda Rosenblum

Your prices are a big factor in your business.

They can help demonstrate the value you provide, your level of expertise, and the level of client you work with.

But they also influence how much money you make and your business’s profit margin (aka revenue less costs = profit).

Take Donna, a former student, for example…

She is a website designer and she used to charge 4,200 USD for a standard website.

Before Cash Flow CEO, she focused on how long a project took (hours for money) instead of ALL the other components of pricing (ie. total value provided, expertise, speed to completion, quality of finished product, high customer service, who she wanted to work with, etc.).

Her income level wasn’t growing as fast as she wanted, even though she was as busy as ever.

She wanted to scale, but not if it was going to mean more work and not much more profit…

Something had to change.

[HINT: She followed the 5 steps I’m outlining to raise her prices.]

“Sounds like huge value!”

by Belinda Rosenblum

I didn’t think I was going to teach this new workshop on pricing.

The information I have planned is typically something I reserve exclusively for my Cash Flow CEO program students.

But I asked some close friends on Facebook if this might be something women business owners want… I’ll let the responses speak for themselves.

Do you want in on this training?
